Does anyone else find it deeply unsettling that Gregory Johnson was still on the streets, especially considering his violent past and the outstanding warrant for the previous stabbing? It's terrifying to think that such a dangerous individual was able to roam free and cause so much harm. Miquial and Lamichael were just kids trying to enjoy a bike ride, and it’s devastating that their lives were shattered in an instant because of someone who should have been behind bars. It really brings into question how these warrants are handled and what can be done to ensure people with violent tendencies are properly held accountable. My heart goes out to Miquial’s family and to Lamichael; I can’t imagine what they’re going through, having lost a son and a brother in such an unimaginable way. We need to keep talking about these issues, hoping that by doing so, future tragedies might be prevented.
