I’ve been following Shandon Barnes' case for a while now, and I just can't stop thinking about his kids. Losing a parent is unimaginable, especially at such a young age. It's heartwarming to hear how the community describes Shandon as a beacon of positivity, but heartbreaking that those kids have to grow up without their dad's infectious smile and unwavering support. I really hope that someone who knows something about that day in Algiers finds it in their heart to speak up. Shandon’s children deserve to know that their dad's story has an ending that includes justice. If anyone here has any insight, let’s help bring peace to his family. Don’t let his kids lose hope that the world can be just.
I was thinking about what a bright spot Shandon must have been in the Algiers community. It's tough to lose someone who touched so many lives with kindness, especially when their life is taken in such a senseless way. My heart goes out to his kids who are growing up without their dad. It's been so long, but cases like this need the community's help more than ever. I'm wondering if there were any surveillance cameras at the intersection that day. It's a busy area, maybe someone noticed the silver car or has footage that might have been overlooked. Every little detail could be crucial in cases like Shandon's. If anyone knows anything, I hope they come forward. His family deserves answers, and his children deserve to know what happened to their father.
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum but have been following Shandon Barnes' case for some time. One aspect that really stands out to me is the time and location of the crime. Broad daylight at a busy intersection speaks volumes. It's so unnerving to think that this happened when many people would have been around, going about their daily routines.
I wonder if anyone in the community has come forward with additional information or if there's any hope from the detective's side to re-examine the area for surveillance footage. It's frustrating to see this tragic event remain unresolved, and I can't begin to imagine how this uncertainty eats away at his family, especially during significant life events and as his children grow up without him.
For those in the New Orleans area, maybe there's more people talking about it now than there were back then? Every bit of information helps, even after all these years.
Justice for Shandon and thoughts to his family. Let's keep this conversation going and see if we can bring some light to this case.
Stay safe, everyone.
