I've been following the threads on Nathaniel Reynaud's case, and I keep coming back to how incredibly brave Howard Olivier must be. To survive such a traumatic incident with the physical and emotional scars it must have left is beyond comprehension. Being shot in the face and finding the strength to persist is nothing short of heroic. It's hard to imagine the sense of vulnerability and violation experienced by everyone closely involved after that horrific night. I often think about how Olivier, having survived, can face each day, coping with the memories and grief. He must have an incredibly resilient spirit. It's also humbling to think about the support system one needs to heal from such a violent event. Olivier's survival is a testament not only to his strength but also to a hope for healing and justice, even in the most brutal circumstances. Keeping him and all of Nathaniel's loved ones in my thoughts.
