I've been keeping up with the Rico Dowtrin case, and it's so painful to see how these types of crimes seem to repeat in Detroit. It's incredibly frustrating that all these years later, there's still no closure for his family or justice for Rico. I've read a bit about how Crime Stoppers and other anonymous tip lines can help, but I'm curious how effective they've been in the past? Does anyone know if there are success stories from similar cases in Detroit? For the sake of Rico’s loved ones, I really hope someone's conscience eventually prompts them to come forward. This story just reminds me again how much we need our communities to be part of the solution. Keeping Rico's family close in thoughts as they continue to search for answers.
