Has anyone else been thinking about the timeline with Dwayne Martin? It's hard not to dwell on the fact that this all happened just the night after Walesha had taken those steps to give Paris a fresh start. Imagine the excitement and hope that must have filled that evening — registering for school, buying new clothes. It's just too cruel how quickly that was all taken away. The argument between Walesha and Dwayne, what could have escalated it to such a horrific point? And to think, Walesha had only just moved back to try to create a better life in New Orleans after being away since Katrina. My heart goes out to Walesha's sister, Shanette, and the rest of their loved ones. No family should have to endure this. If there's any small justice to be found, I hope it comes swiftly and decisively.
