Has anyone else looked into the reports about the red pickup truck seen near Elizabeth's car? It's such a frustrating piece of the puzzle. I found an old news snippet that mentioned the truck sighting but it feels like it just fell off the radar. They described the man she was with as being in his late 30s or early 40s, but that's about it. How did this lead not go anywhere? It's unbelievable to think that in a relatively small area like Goodlettsville, nobody else noticed this truck or came forward with more info. Was there ever any follow-up by the police or media on tracking this guy down? There must be other drivers, diners, or locals who remember something more. It's been over 30 years—surely someone out there still remembers hearing or seeing something on that day.
