I've been thinking a lot about the first responder's accounts in the Blanchard case and can't shake the image of the 911 call. Can you imagine how terrifying it must have been for Leola to be on the line trying to seek help while everything was unfolding? It’s moments like these where dispatchers and first responders play such a crucial role. They are often the unsung heroes in these situations, doing everything in their power to get help on scene as quickly as possible. My heart really goes out to the family members who have to cope with not only the loss but also the trauma of what was captured during those critical moments. I hope Scott is getting all the support he needs to recover both physically and emotionally. Thoughts and prayers for him and the rest of the family.
