Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Joseph Molina, the young teen who lost his life in San Bernardino back in 2014. As I was digging through different aspects of this case, I stumbled upon something quite concerning. The sheer magnitude of unsolved cases during that period is staggering, and it makes me think about how overwhelmed the local police must have been. The backlog of cases, especially those involving youth like Joseph, is alarming. I can't imagine being part of a family left in the dark, not knowing who did this or why. I wonder if the limited resources and understaffing were major obstacles for the police department back then. Was there ever a significant change in how they managed or prioritized these cases over time? It seems like there might be more they could've, or can, do to tackle such an overwhelming issue. It's hard not to feel for the families searching for answers. Every time I read about cases like Joseph's, it reminds me how crucial community support and effective policy changes are. I'm hoping that initiatives since then have started to turn the tide, but it's clear there’s still so much more to be done. How can we better support efforts to bring long-overdue justice and change to communities like this? Stay safe, everyone.
