Does anyone know more about the folks who stopped to help Trooper Vincent after he was shot? I can't stop thinking about how brave they were, especially since they were just passing by and had no idea what they were walking into. Their actions probably kept Daigle from doing even more harm that day. It must have been terrifying to step in like they did, but they showed such incredible courage. I hope they’ve been recognized or thanked in some way. Also, has there been any support for them, like counseling for the trauma they went through? It's often easy to overlook the impact something like this can have on witnesses who step in during such a crisis.
