I’ve been thinking a lot about the witness who tried to help Keith at the scene. It takes an incredible amount of courage to step in during such a traumatic event. Imagine finding someone in that state and trying to revive them under such shocking circumstances. My thoughts are with this brave individual. I can’t help but wonder if their testimony or presence might somehow aid in piecing things together—especially noticing that second car leaving the scene. It must weigh heavily on their mind, knowing they were right there and trying everything they could. Sending love and strength to everyone trying to make sense of this tragedy, especially Keith’s dear family and friends. It’s clear he was deeply loved by so many.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Keith Guerra Jr.'s case closely and I just wanted to take a moment to talk about the young man who tried to help Keith right after he was shot. It's haunting to think about what he must have gone through, trying to save Keith's life despite being hurt himself. It’s incredibly brave and selfless, especially in such a terrifying and chaotic moment.
I truly hope this brave act doesn’t go unnoticed and that he’s getting the support he needs. Witnessing something so traumatic and then being involved in an investigation is huge for anyone, let alone someone who’s so young. It just shows how much kindness and courage can live even in the worst situations.
My thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Keith's family and friends, who are enduring such a painful loss, and to the young man who stepped up to help. I hope the St. Bernard Parish community finds some peace and that justice is eventually served.
Stay safe out there.
