It's incredibly difficult to come to terms with what happened at Angie's Bar and Grill. I keep thinking about all the lives forever changed because of that tragic night. April was such a bright light in our community, and it's hard to imagine the pain her family is going through now. I didn't know Joseph personally, but it's just all-around devastating. Something that strikes me is that there were no prior signs or history of violence between April and Thomas. It makes me wonder about what was going on beneath the surface. How can we as a community identify and help in situations where there might not be obvious signs? It’s so important we support each other in any way we can to prevent such unthinkable tragedies from happening again. My heart goes out to everyone who knew April. Stories I've heard about her kindness and selflessness make it evident she was a truly special person. I hope her loved ones find some comfort in the memories they shared with her.
