Has anyone else been following the memorials and services held for Anthony Citizen? It’s so moving to see how the Church Point community has come together to honor him. From what I've read, the turnout at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church was overwhelming. Fr. Emmanuel Awe did an incredible job at bringing people together to celebrate Anthony’s life. It’s clear he was loved by so many. I can't help but think that it must have been comforting, at least in a small way, for his family and friends to see the community’s support. Given how sudden and tragic this event was, I’m hoping there will be continued discussions on how we can prevent such violence in our neighborhoods moving forward. Anyone else have thoughts on how the community might heal and work towards change after such a loss?
