I recently came across the heart-wrenching case of Faisal Puckett Jr., and I can't stop thinking about his amazing achievements at such a young age. He was only 18, but he truly embodied greatness and ambition when he represented New Orleans as a National Ambassador for the "Do the Write Thing" campaign in 2012. How incredible must it have been for him to meet dignitaries in Washington, D.C.! Faisal had so much potential and was clearly on a path to making a difference in the world. It’s such a tragic loss not just for his family but for his community and all those who believed in what he stood for.
The lack of updates or arrests in his case is incredibly frustrating and unsettling. The fact that he was taken from this world without any resolution whatsoever is something no family should have to endure. Knowing how much Faisal was loved by his family and friends, I hope they eventually find the closure and justice they so rightfully deserve. If anyone has additional insight into where this case is at now or how we can support his family, I would be grateful to learn more. The way gun violence continually robs us of bright young lives is unforgivable. Rest in peace, Faisal. You're remembered by many.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Faisal Puckett Jr., and I can't help but think about his time as a National Ambassador for the "Do the Write Thing" campaign. It's truly heartbreaking to see someone so young, who once had the chance to represent New Orleans on a national level, have their life cut so short. Knowing he visited Washington, D.C. and met with dignitaries shows just how promising his future might have been. I'm hoping that the attention from his past accomplishments helps bring more eyes to his case. Maybe this can push someone who knows something to finally come forward. For his family and for Faisal, I really hope justice is served soon. Does anyone here know more about his work with the campaign or if it's receiving any media push to reignite interest in his case?
Sending strength to his family and hope for answers.

I just want to take a moment to remember Faisal Puckett Jr. for his contributions as a National Ambassador for the "Do the Write Thing" campaign back in 2012. It's significant that someone so young not only represented New Orleans on such a prominent platform but also got to meet dignitaries in Washington, D.C. It’s a fantastic initiative aimed at reducing violence, and Faisal’s involvement speaks volumes about his character and leadership. Knowing how much potential he had makes the loss even more profound. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are left grappling with the sudden void. They deserve answers and some form of justice, and I truly hope they receive it soon. Does anyone else find it so painful that young lives like Faisal's, who embodied positivity and change, are taken so unjustly? Such a devastating loss for his loved ones and the community.
