Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the children left behind in the wake of violent crimes, and John's case really highlights this tragedy for me. He had three sons: Aki, KyLanely, and Kenneth. It's heart-wrenching to imagine the impact his loss has on their young lives. Growing up without a father because of such a senseless act of violence must be incredibly difficult. I read somewhere that family and community support can make a big difference for kids navigating the loss of a parent.
