I've been thinking a lot about Raymond's case lately and something that's been on my mind is the role of the community around Promised Land Baptist Church where his memorial was held. It sounds like it was a truly heartfelt gathering, filled with people who cared deeply for him. In times of tragedy, communities often come together to support one another, and it seems like Raymond's community did just that.
For everyone who joined to celebrate and remember his life, I wonder about their thoughts and feelings sharing that space, remembering a young man who should still be here. Despite the lack of public information about what happened to him, the collective support displayed at the service speaks volumes about the love that surrounded him.
It makes me hope that this same community spirit keeps pushing forward for answers in his case. There are unanswered questions that need resolving, and I truly believe that the love and determination of those who knew Raymond could be the key to bringing more light to this dark situation. Keeping these types of gatherings alive, even years down the line, might help keep his story in public consciousness.
To Raymond’s family and friends, know that many are thinking of you and hoping for answers. Your strength in honoring his memory is powerful, and no matter how much time passes, this community stands with you. Raymond’s story isn't forgotten.
