Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussion about Dayton Harmon, and it got me thinking about the role of community safety in tragedies like these. It's really distressing to think that Dayton, someone so young with his whole life ahead of him, was taken so suddenly. I grew up in a small town myself, and I can only imagine how his schoolmates and the local churches he was part of are feeling right now. Community bonds are often strong in places like Crowley, so this must be hitting everyone even harder. Does anyone know if local authorities or community groups are stepping up to ensure something like this doesn’t happen again? It would be a small comfort to know that steps are being taken to protect other young people in the area. My thoughts go out to his family and everyone who cared about him.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the emotional toll this must have on Dayton's siblings. Losing a brother, especially someone as young as Dayton, has to be unimaginably tough. I can't begin to fathom what they are going through right now. Has anyone heard about any community support or counseling services for his family, particularly for the younger kids? It'd be reassuring to know that there are resources available to help them cope with such a painful loss. If anyone has information or ideas on how the community can rally around them, please share. Supporting them in this moment could mean so much.
