Does anyone else feel deeply frustrated by the lack of progress in the Donald Kuykendall case? It’s been over six years, and knowing that his family is still waiting for answers just feels incredibly unfair. Detroit has such a high number of unsolved murders, and it’s discouraging to think about the stress the local law enforcement must be under. I wonder if there might be more that can be done to encourage witnesses to come forward. Fear is a powerful deterrent, but these unresolved cases leave so many families suffering. Maybe community outreach or anonymity programs could help? I hope DPD and other agencies can find whatever they need—whether it be resources, funding, or even public support—to continue pushing towards justice, not just for Donald but for countless others like him. Anyone have insights on how other cities are handling similar situations?
