Hey everyone, I recently came across some discussions about Diamond Phillip and wanted to chime in regarding how the community responded to her passing. Although there’s no indication of foul play, the way people from Donaldsonville came together during such a tough time says a lot about the community's strength and support system. From what I've read, her funeral at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church was attended by many who were deeply affected by her loss. It's clear she left a lasting impression on those who knew her, and that collective mourning was both poignant and powerful. Knowing how closely-knit towns can be, seeing everyone rally around Diamond's family and each other during those December days must have been a comfort, even amidst their loss.
