Has anyone else looked into that 1991 Chevrolet Lumina that Kathy owned? It seems odd to me that her car was found with $350 in cash still inside. If robbery wasn't the motive, what was? Leaving that much money in a car could attract attention, yet it wasn’t taken. Also, her keys being left in the car make it seem like she might have known whoever she encountered that night. The thing is, her car was found in a public lot, which would make it risky for someone trying to make her disappear. Do you think there's something significant about the location or the timing of when the car was left there? Maybe it could lead us to potential witnesses who might have seen something unusual. Thoughts?

I can't stop thinking about the location where they found Kathy's car. The fact that her Lumina was just sitting there with cash in the console and keys inside is puzzling. It's as if she had to step away quickly, but for what? Leaving cash behind doesn't add up unless she was spooked or had no choice. I'm also curious about why no one heard or saw anything at that shopping center parking lot on Pearl Road. Was it so quiet that night? It's frustrating to think there might be potential witnesses out there who don't even realize what they saw could help solve this. Anyone else think we might be missing something crucial from that scene?

Has anyone else looked into the location where Catherine's car was found? I find it odd that her Chevy Lumina was abandoned at a shopping center on Pearl Road. It seems like a busy area, and someone must have seen something. Leaving the cash and keys in the car feels off to me. If foul play was involved, why leave $350 untouched? Was it meant to mislead investigators that she left voluntarily? I recall reading about a similar case where the victim's car was also abandoned in a public place to throw off police. I wonder if there's any pattern or common suspect in these kinds of cases. Also, does anyone know if the shopping center had surveillance cameras back in '97, and if so, were they ever checked by investigators? If anyone has insights or thoughts on this angle, I'd love to hear them!
