Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on March 8, 1998, in Long Beach? Since Joel was last seen wearing yellow rain gear, I'm wondering if it was raining heavily that day. Maybe he headed out to do something outdoors, considering how common it is to wear rain gear in that area when the weather gets rough. It might be worth exploring if there were any known accidents or other incidents reported nearby during that time, such as landslides or localized flooding. Such details could provide clues or context to help better understand the circumstances of his disappearance.
