Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Antoine Collar case, and something that really caught my attention is the fear that seems to be stifling potential witnesses from coming forward. From what I've read, people in Covington are really worried about the possibility of retaliation if they provide information to the authorities. It's just so sad that fear is preventing folks from speaking out and helping to bring some closure to Antoine’s family. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for his loved ones, knowing that there might be people out there who have the answers but are too scared to speak up. If only there was more protection or support for those willing to help. Do you all think there are effective ways communities or law enforcement could help reduce that fear? Maybe increased anonymity measures or community support groups? Let’s hope someone who knows something gets the courage to speak up soon, and that there’s a way for them to do it safely.
