I'm really moved by the perseverance of Larry and Madrona's family. Especially their daughter, Briane. I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through, losing both parents in such a terrible way and then having to face the crushing disappointment of the case dismissal. It feels like such an uphill battle for justice. It makes me think about how crucial solid evidence is in bringing any case to trial. It's baffling that, despite an arrest, it couldn't hold up. It makes me wonder about what evidence they had initially and what just kept them from making it stick. I hope they get the evidence they need soon. I can't shake the feeling that Larry and Madrona's story deserves to be resolved, not just for their family but for the community that rallied around them.
