I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact on the families of Monquiarious Caldwell and Earl Andrews. I can't imagine the pain of losing a loved one so unexpectedly, and in such a public way. I hope the "peace walk" that was organized brought some comfort to their families, knowing that so many were standing in solidarity with them. It's moving to see the community coming together during such a difficult time, but it's a stark reminder of how fragile life is. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy, and I hope that Monquiarious and Earl can be remembered for the joy and friendship they brought to the world, rather than the violence that took them away.
