Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the Alexis Banks case, and can’t stop thinking about how deeply it must still affect her friends and family. Her community seems to have really come together to support one another through this awful time. It’s particularly touching to see how her schools, McDonogh #35 and Landry Walker High, have rallied around her memory. They say it takes a village, and it’s clear Alexis had a strong one. In times like this, it's heartening to see people holding onto the good times and the joy she brought to their lives. I was also wondering if anyone had heard more about any vigils or memorials held in her honor? I think those can be so important for a community's healing process. Let's keep sharing Alexis’ story and keep her spirit alive in whatever way we can. Hoping for light and peace for her family. ❤️ ---
