I wanted to chime in on Isaac Taylor's case, specifically about the jury deliberations during the original trials. It’s incredibly frustrating to see a verdict get overturned due to a non-unanimous decision, but also kind of eye-opening. While I want justice for Isaac and his family, the big picture about unanimous juries is interesting and important. It makes me wonder about all the other cases out there before this change. I can’t imagine the emotional rollercoaster for Isaac’s family – thinking it was settled, then having to sit through another trial after everything was overturned. I hope they find some peace and that justice prevails in some form for Isaac. This aspect really shows how complicated our legal system can be, and it seems like there's always more to consider when we think a case is "closed." Anyone else have thoughts on how this change in law has affected other cases?
