I was going through some old missing persons cases and came across Manfred Weggel's disappearance. Does anyone know if he had any ties to other places outside of San Francisco? It seems like people sometimes overlook that aspect when someone goes missing. I know it's a long shot since it's been over two decades, but wondering if someone might remember if he had any connections or frequent travel habits that could provide some clues. It might shed light on where he could have gone or who he might have encountered. Every little bit helps!
I've been following Manfred Weggel's case for a while and something that sticks out to me is the lack of media coverage over the years. It's been over two decades, and you'd think some local news outlet would have picked up his story once in a while. We always hear about missing person cases making breakthroughs after being spotlighted on TV shows or news segments. Could it be that his case hasn't gotten much attention because there wasn't enough information to start with? I wonder if a renewed media push could stir up new leads or jog someone's memory who might have seen him or know something. It's frustrating to think a media boost could make a huge difference but hasn’t happened yet. Anyone else noticed this pattern in other long-term cases?
