I’ve been following Ricky Wiltz’s case closely and cannot stop thinking about how the community must be coping. To lose someone so young and vibrant is just unimaginable. I recently read about the vigil held in his honor, and it speaks volumes about the deep impact Ricky had on those around him. It's encouraging to see such solidarity and support for his family during this indescribably tough time. But what keeps nagging at me is the bigger picture. It’s devastating to hear about another young life lost in Kevin Calais too. Two murders in one weekend, and two families forever changed. I'm heartened by the valiant efforts of the investigators, but I truly hope these tragedies spark broader conversations about community safety and prevention. There’s a pressing need for healing and change. Let's keep supporting Ricky and Kevin's families in any way we can. They shouldn't have to go through this alone.
