Has anyone else been following the Eddie Ard case from 2014? I came across it again recently, and it's just so tragic. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family and friends have been through all these years. It's infuriating that no one has been held accountable yet. There's such a strong sense of injustice when these cases go unsolved for so long.
I noticed that this incident happened in the Bayview neighborhood. I'm not from the area, but I’ve read that it's been plagued by violence for quite some time. It makes me wonder about the community and why these issues persist. Are there any local initiatives or organizations working to reduce crime there? I feel like more awareness or maybe a community spotlight could help prevent future tragedies.
I hope one day there’s a breakthrough in Eddie’s case. Maybe someone will finally come forward with the missing piece of information needed to give his loved ones some peace. Until then, we should keep his story alive and push for justice.

A black four-door sedan in a drive-by — seems like that would’ve stood out. Plus, there are cameras everywhere nowadays. I sincerely hope that the police are working with any available footage or tech that could lead to a breakthrough. These kinds of cases need some kind of closure for the community and especially for those who were close to Eddie.
