Hey everyone, I was digging through some old missing persons cases and came across Lakevia Wright's. Something that got me thinking is how her case hasn't had any major media coverage over the years. I know cold cases tend to fade from the spotlight, but it's puzzling that there seems to be almost nothing on her particular situation. Has anyone else noticed how some cases just don't get the attention they deserve? I'm wondering if there's anything more we could do as a community to bring these lesser-known cases back into the limelight. With social media, maybe we can create some sort of ripple effect to get people talking about her again. Would love to hear your thoughts or any suggestions!
I was reading through Lakevia Wright's case again, and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of security camera footage or eyewitness accounts from the days around her disappearance. Considering this happened in 2004, you'd think there might have been some camera coverage in public areas or businesses she might have visited. Has anyone ever come across info on whether surveillance footage was reviewed or considered? It seems like a long shot, but maybe someone remembers something or there's a possibility that local businesses had cameras at the time, and no one checked them? It's wild to think about how crucial technology becomes in situations like these, yet there might be a gap in such a vital line of inquiry. Thoughts?
