Has anyone else been following the details of Freddie DeJean Jr.'s case? It's so difficult to wrap my head around how someone who seemed to be such a cornerstone in his community could be taken so violently. I've been thinking a lot about where things stand with the investigation. It's been almost four years now, and it seems like there's still no resolution or justice for Freddie and the others affected by this tragedy. Freddie's dedication to his family and his community work really stood out to me—he devoted his life to both his country and his hometown. It's just gut-wrenching to think about the pain his family must still be enduring, especially knowing his killer hasn't been found. I genuinely hope that anyone who knows anything will finally step forward. Keeping Freddie, Louis Morgan, and all their loved ones in my heart. Justice needs to be served.

I can't stop thinking about how much Freddie DeJean meant to the community. From what I've gathered, he wasn't just a family man but also a rock for so many people around him. It's alarming that this shooting happened in a place where he probably felt safe, and it just shows that nobody is immune to this senseless violence. The fact that the investigation hasn't yielded any arrests is disturbing, and it must be so hard for his family waiting for answers. It's important for the community to band together and support both the families affected and efforts to uncover the truth. If anyone out there has any information, even if it seems insignificant, it could be what finally helps push this case forward. Freddie deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Anyone else have thoughts on how this affects the sense of safety in the neighborhood?

I stumbled across this case while reading about unsolved incidents in NOLA, and I can't stop thinking about the impact Freddie J. DeJean Jr. had on his community. It's clear from everything I've read that he was a pillar of strength for his family and those around him. It breaks my heart to see such a dedicated community member and veteran lose his life in such a violent and senseless act. The part that really sticks with me is how active Freddie was at his church and how involved he was in making his neighborhood a better place. It makes me so sad to think that someone who dedicated himself to helping others could be taken so suddenly and violently. I sincerely hope that the NOPD finds the justice Freddie and his loved ones deserve. Let’s keep his memory alive and continue to raise awareness about the investigation. If you live in or near the 7th Ward and remember anything—or know someone who does—please consider reaching out to authorities. Even the smallest detail could make a huge difference. My thoughts are with Freddie’s family and everyone affected by this tragedy.
