I’ve been thinking a lot about the brave first responders who arrived at the Colvin residence that tragic morning. I can’t even imagine the emotional toll it must have taken on them to witness such an inconceivable act of violence and hear Casey’s cries for help. It’s easy to overlook their experiences, but they show up day after day to handle these traumatic situations. My heart goes out to them as well as to the families of Casey, Billie, and Lela. I hope they’re getting the support they need during this incredibly difficult time. It's heartening to see the community come together at the vigil to remember these beautiful lives and offer strength to everyone affected.

I've been following the news about the tragic events in Spearsville and it's just so devastating. It's honestly hard to wrap my mind around what happened to Casey, her daughter Billie, and their friend Lela. Something that’s been weighing on my mind is how the community is coping in the aftermath of such an unthinkable tragedy. The unity and support during the vigil at the community park really touched me. It says a lot about the strength and compassion of the people there, coming together to remember these individuals and provide comfort to the grieving families. My heart goes out to everyone who knew Casey and the girls; I hope they find some measure of peace and healing. If anyone here from Spearsville could share more about how the community is holding up, it would really help those of us trying to support from afar. Sending love and strength your way.
