I've been thinking a lot about Bianca Williams and her life before the tragedy. It's clear she was loved and touched so many lives, especially working at The Paragon Casino. You often hear coworkers talk about trying to spot the signs of abuse, but sometimes it's so hard to see behind the smiles people wear. My heart goes out to her colleagues who must be grappling with so many emotions now, wondering if they missed anything. It must be incredibly difficult for Braylon too, losing his mom in such a violent way. I can't even imagine what Connie Sue and the rest of her family are going through. I hope the community is rallying around them and providing the support they need. This is a reminder of how crucial it is to keep talking about domestic violence and offering help to those who might be suffering in silence. Bianca deserved so much more, and her story should push all of us to be more vigilant and compassionate.
