I'm still shaken by the tragic case of Pauliqua Evans. It’s just so difficult to understand how such a vibrant young woman could have been taken from us so senselessly. I was reading about how the community came together for her funeral at Winnfield Funeral Home, and it really shows how deeply she was loved and respected. Her family and friends must be going through unimaginable pain. What's been on my mind lately is the impact of the community in these times. It's incredibly important, not just for healing, but also in supporting the investigation. Crime Stoppers played a key role with that tip leading to Vernell Lockett's arrest. It just goes to show that every bit of information can be crucial. Still sending all my thoughts to her family. I hope the legal proceedings bring some measure of peace and closure for them. If anyone knows more about how the community has been handling this or any vigils or memorials, I’d love to hear about it. Stay safe, everyone.
