Has anyone else been following the Bryson Charles case in New Iberia? I just came across some local news coverage and it struck me how much the community is rallying together. Several neighborhood associations have been holding meetings and vigils, not only to honor Bryson but also to push for more safety measures around that area. It’s touching to see neighbors coming together like this, but it's also frustrating that it takes such a tragedy to spark these actions. I really hope that these efforts will not only help bring justice for Bryson and his family but also prevent such a senseless act from happening to anyone else in our neighborhoods. If anyone in the area has been attending these meetings or knows how the family is holding up, I'd be interested to hear about their thoughts on how the community can better support them during this time.
