Hey everyone,
I've been following the William Vega and Elizabeth Matos case closely and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. I read somewhere that they were walking on Dewey Street, and it struck me how busy that area usually is. It feels strange that no one saw anything that could help investigators, given the time and place. I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras or businesses nearby back in 2001 that might have overlooked something crucial.
It's frustrating to think that the whole community is left without answers, but I believe someone must know something that could help bring resolution for the families. Every detail counts, even if it seems small. I hope anyone with information will find the courage to speak up, for William and Elizabeth's sake.
Sending my deepest sympathies to their families, who deserve some peace after all these years. Let's keep this case alive in our discussions and hope for justice.
Hey everyone,

I’ve been diving deep into the case of William Vega and Elizabeth Matos recently, and something that's been on my mind is the potential significance of Dewey Street as the crime scene. Does anyone else find it strange that such a horrific act took place in what isn't exactly a high-crime area? I’m wondering if the choice of location was more than just random. Could it be that the shooter(s) knew the area well and felt confident they could strike and disappear quickly? I’m curious if any other suspicious incidents or similar crimes happened around that time in the neighborhood. It’s heart-wrenching to imagine the fear William and Elizabeth must have faced. I hope that by continuing to talk about this, someone out there who knows something might feel compelled to finally speak up.

Has anyone else looked into this aspect, or have any thoughts or info that might help? Every little bit could be crucial for their families to finally get the answers they need.
I’ve been reading about the unsolved case of William Vega and Elizabeth Matos from 2001, and I’m struggling to understand how they haven’t cracked this double homicide after all these years. It must be so incredibly tough for their families, living with unanswered questions and no closure. I was thinking about the investigation process and wondering if there might have been any potential witnesses on Dewey Street that day who didn’t come forward. Maybe someone saw or heard something that seemed insignificant at the time but could be crucial now. The police say they’re still seeking information—maybe another push for witness accounts could help? Sending strength to their loved ones in this difficult search for justice. ?
