Reading about Roderick Atkinson Sr. has really struck a chord with me, especially as a parent. It seems like he was surrounded by so much love, which is both beautiful and tragic given his untimely passing. For anyone who knew Roderick, I can't imagine the hole he has left in their hearts, particularly his kids, Brielle and Roderick Jr. As a mom, it makes me ache to think of them navigating life without their father. The Celebration of Life service must have been incredibly emotional, a testament to how deeply he was cherished. I hope his family finds peace and strength in the memories they shared with him. Isn’t it amazing how someone’s impact can be felt so strongly even after they're gone? Sending love to his family and friends and hoping for healing in the days to come.
