I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on the whole Minden community. Hearing that a local businessman, who seemed like such a pillar, could be involved in something like this is truly unsettling. That poor employee who had to find them—I can't imagine how traumatic that must have been. It's kind of a grim reminder that sometimes we really don't know what’s happening behind closed doors, even with people we consider influential or respected. It must be so hard for the family and friends to wrap their heads around this and try to find any sense of peace. Keeping them in my thoughts.
I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the tragic loss of Glenda Swain Toms and her husband Carroll. They seemed to have everything together, being well-regarded in Minden and all. I can’t help but think about their employee, who found them. Imagine the shock and pain he must have felt. Walking into such a tragic scene must have been just devastating. It’s often overlooked how these events ripple outwards, affecting everyone around the victims. Anyone else feel this way? It's so important to remember not just the couple, but also those around them who are left to pick up the pieces. It’s just so incredibly sad. My heart goes out to their friends, family, and everyone in the community. Does anyone know if counseling or community gatherings have been organized to provide support? It feels like now more than ever, everyone needs to lean on each other.
