In looking into Webster's disappearance, I noticed something odd about the weather reports from Kodiak on December 6, 2007. That morning, conditions were reportedly rough with strong winds and choppy waters. It's made me wonder if there was a possibility of Webster slipping and falling overboard due to the weather. Has anyone dug into those weather conditions, or is there a way to find if this has been thoroughly explored in any of the investigations? It just seems like there might be more to the story, especially with his hat being the only thing left behind on the boat. Anyone with insight or theories on this?
I came across Webster's case and something really stuck out to me that hasn't been discussed much. The Provider was docked at a transient float, and from what I understand, these are areas where boats only stay temporarily. Does anyone know how busy that part of Kodiak Harbor was around that time of year? With it being early December, I'm curious if there were many people around who could've seen or heard something. It's odd that his hat was the only thing found. Did anyone report hearing anything unusual that morning? I feel like activity at the transient float could be a key piece in figuring out what might have happened to him. Thoughts?
