Hi everyone, I can't stop thinking about the tragic loss of E'Jon and that young girl. I know the focus is on finding who did this, but my heart truly goes out to his little boy, Javonte’. It's devastating knowing he'll grow up without his dad. I hope the community can come together to support Javonte’ and help keep E'Jon's memory alive. This little guy might need some counseling or mentorship down the road. Does anyone know if there are any ongoing efforts or fundraisers to support his family, particularly in helping Javonte’? I think rallying around them could be a positive way to honor E'Jon's legacy while we wait for justice. Sending strength and love to all affected, hoping for answers soon.

I came across this case and felt compelled to join the conversation. It's devastating to hear about E'Jon Manny Dabney's tragic death. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through. I wanted to mention the part about the other victims in the vehicle. It's often these details that paint a fuller picture of the chaos and recklessness of such violent acts. The 14-year-old girl who also passed away—what a tragedy for her family too. It just emphasizes how senseless and indiscriminate this shooting was. From what I gathered, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is still looking for any info that could help, right? It’s frustrating that these cases can drag on with no resolution. My heart goes out to all the victims and their families—I hope they get the answers and justice they deserve soon. Does anyone have updates on the condition of the other two people who were in the car? Insights on how the community is holding up would be appreciated too.

I've been following the discussion on E'Jon Dabney's case, and one aspect that stands out is the terrifying randomness of the situation. It's chilling to think that he and the others could have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time. The area of W. Fourth Street and Orange Street, where the shots were fired, isn't known to be particularly dangerous, which makes this entire situation even more unsettling. E'Jon's death has left a deep void in his family's life, and I can't imagine the pain his parents and siblings are feeling. They deserve answers and justice, but it seems like the investigation is stalling without any suspects. It's so frustrating to see cases like this, with so much grief left unresolved. I hope the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office makes some headway soon, and if anyone has information, they should definitely come forward. E'Jon deserves that much. Thoughts and prayers to his family and to the loved ones of the 14-year-old girl who lost her life too.
