Has anyone looked into local events around Dolan Springs around the time Verna disappeared in February 2008? I was thinking it might be worth seeing if there were any fairs, markets, or gatherings she might have been planning to attend. There could be witnesses who saw her or maybe even someone she interacted with just before she went missing. I know sometimes people vanish when heading out to events like these. Dolan Springs isn't exactly a bustling town, so any kind of public gathering might have stood out. Let's connect the dots where we can; maybe there's some clue hiding in plain sight.

Hey all, I've been following Verna's case from Dolan Springs and something that's been bugging me is about her car. I read somewhere that her vehicle was found abandoned not too far from where she was last seen? Does anyone have more details about the condition it was in when it was discovered? Like were there keys inside, or was there anything left behind that might give us a clue on what happened to her that day? I feel like examining the state of her car might help piece together her last movements or mindset. If anyone has more info or theories about this, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

I’ve been looking into Verna’s case, and I'm curious about the terrain and landscape around Dolan Springs. Does anyone here know how challenging it would be to search that area, particularly back in 2008? I imagine the desert conditions and potential wildlife could have made it difficult for search teams. It's been so long, and I can't help but think about how important those initial days of searching would have been given the area's vastness. If anyone with local knowledge or experience in search and rescue could weigh in, I'd appreciate it!
