Has anyone else been curious about the timing of Jim Bob Moffett's decline in health? I know he had been dealing with illness for several years, but it seems COVID-19 really took a toll on him in his final days. It’s just so difficult to see someone who contributed so much to both business and community succumb in such a way. As someone with such a significant presence in both New Orleans and the broader industry, I wonder how his absence has been felt by those closest to him, not just personally but also professionally. His leadership and philanthropy genuinely seemed to touch so many lives. Does anyone have more details or thoughts on how Freeport-McMoRan and the community are coping without him? His passing feels like a big void for both his family and the industry. Thinking of them during this difficult time.
