I can’t stop thinking about the devastating impact this has had on Carsen's family, especially knowing his uncle Michael was also a victim in this terrible incident. It's horrific to imagine the fear and confusion Carsen must have felt in those last moments. Two lives were cut short so suddenly, and it feels like an unbearable weight on the community.
I’ve read that the area near LSU has seen a rise in crime, but it doesn’t make sense that something this violent could happen with children involved. Does anyone know if the police have increased patrols or taken any specific measures to prevent future tragedies like this? It would be reassuring to know there's a plan to protect others from suffering the same fate.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is still calling for witnesses to step up. If anyone witnessed anything or has even the smallest piece of info, please, please share it with the authorities.
