I keep thinking about the impact Malik had on those around him at such a young age. Despite his challenges, he didn't let his condition hold him back, and he won the hearts of so many. It's hard not to admire the courage and determination he showed, especially in his passion for football. I'm just devastated that someone so full of promise and life was taken away so senselessly.
One aspect that strikes me is the support from the KIPP New Orleans School community. It must be comforting for his family to know that Malik was surrounded by people who cared deeply for him and appreciated his strength and character. I hope his friends and teachers continue to share their precious memories of him, helping keep his spirit alive.

I've been thinking a lot about the senseless tragedy that happened to Malik Carter. It's incredibly hard to comprehend why anyone would want to harm such a promising young soul. Malik's story has stuck with me, especially when I learned about his battle with Brachial Plexus Palsy. To think that he took that challenge head-on, still pushing to follow his dreams of playing football, is truly inspiring.
I can't help but feel for his family and the community around him. He seemed like such a loving and dedicated young man, especially with how he cherished moments with his nieces and nephews. We need to unite to ensure justice for Malik. It's been too long, and his family deserves answers.

I’ve been following Malik Carter’s case, and it’s just so senseless and tragic. I was reading about how the community came together for his service on April 7, 2022. It’s incredible how a young boy like Malik, with such spirit and determination, had touched the lives of so many people around him. I didn’t know him personally, but he seemed like such a vibrant kid - from pushing through his challenges to play football to being a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews.
I can’t even begin to imagine the depth of the loss his family must be feeling. It’s just unthinkable that someone so young and full of potential had his life cut short this way. I really hope someone with information steps up soon to help give Malik's family the answers they desperately need. How can we, as a community, continue to let something like this happen without pushing every day for justice? If you have any information, please reach out to the authorities.
