I've been following Carltez's case and can't stop thinking about the young woman who got caught in the gunfire that night. While the focus is rightfully on bringing justice for Carltez, it's important not to forget the trauma she must be enduring. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time is tragically common in situations like these, and we often overlook the psychological scars left on survivors. I hope that she receives the support and counseling she needs to heal from this terrifying ordeal. This incident is just another reminder of how small actions, like offering support to those affected, can truly make a difference. My thoughts are with her, Carltez's family, and everyone touched by this senseless act of violence.
Did anyone else hear about the shooting near Ridgefield Ave around the time Carltez was killed? I remember reading something about it, but I can't find anything solid now. Could this have been somehow related, or just another unfortunate coincidence in that part of Baton Rouge? It's so distressing to think about the environment young people like Carltez have to navigate. Sending my deepest sympathies to his family during this incredibly distressing time. I hope we can piece together more information and help get answers.
