I've been thinking a lot about the location where this tragedy happened. It's scary to think that a place so many of us have visited, right by the Tanger Outlet Mall, would be the site of such a tragic event. Waffle House is a spot that brings people together—it's supposed to be a place of comfort, where you grab late-night meals with friends. The fact that this happened there, at 12:30 a.m., just shows that violence can strike anywhere at any time. My heart goes out to Willie's family and the others affected.
It's just unsettling, you know? We all need to come together as a community to push for change. Maybe it's time to discuss better lighting or increased patrols around these busier areas, especially late at night. Stay safe everyone and please share any info if you have it.
