Has anyone else been following the case of Spencer Merritt in Shreveport? It's such a tragedy what happened to him. I've been thinking about the Ingleside neighborhood where he was working on renovations. It was supposed to be a place to build memories and a future, not the site of such a tragedy. I can't help but wonder how his family is coping with the loss, and I hope the police get the break they need in this investigation. The community deserves safety and reassurance, and it's sad to see yet another senseless act of violence go unresolved. Anyone with info should really come forward—Merritt’s family and friends need and deserve closure.
