I've been following the case of Andrew Lewis and can't shake the feeling that there's more to the story than what we're hearing. What's especially troubling to me is the way the authorities have seemingly overlooked critical aspects of the investigation. From what I've gathered, Andrew was shot by Eli Miller, who claimed self-defense—yet, there are no clear reports about any significant injuries to Miller that would support this claim. It's baffling why the DA's office is not pursuing this more aggressively. A lot of people in the community remember Andrew not just as "Bubba," a talented musician, but as a kind soul who would go out of his way to help others. It feels unjust that his life is being reduced to an unsolved case with little momentum. When does the system start reflecting the values of justice and compassion it promises? Andrew's family deserves answers, and I can't stop thinking about what more can be done to support them during this arduous process.
