Hey everyone, I've been following Domin's case and something that keeps bothering me is his choice to hike alone that day. From everything I've read, he was really into finding new routes and it's such a daunting thought that he was out there trying an off-trail route on his own. Given how rugged the area is and how thick the vegetation can get around Sheep Mountain, it's concerning that even an experienced hiker like him could get lost or injured without anyone realizing it for days. I understand the thrill for adventure and pushing personal limits, but it makes me wonder about the risks of going off-trail without telling someone. Also, for all the hikers out there, how common is it to leave your plans completely to yourself? Would love to hear thoughts or any similar experiences from others. Stay safe out there, everyone.
