Has anyone else noticed the lack of progress in finding out who was responsible for Nonnie's death? It’s been nearly a year, and it seems like we’re still at square one. Nonnie was such a cherished member of the Houma community, and it’s so hard to grasp that someone could fire into her home so recklessly. I'm hoping the investigation is still a priority for the police department—her family deserves answers and closure, especially Shamika, who endured the unimaginable. It's a relief to know there's a reward out there, but I wonder if it’s enough. If anyone in the community has even the smallest piece of info, please consider coming forward. It's understandable to be hesitant, but it might be the key to bringing peace to Nonnie's loved ones. Let's continue to support them and keep this case alive in our conversations.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Leonore Menard’s case from Houma, and my heart goes out to her family, especially her daughter Shamika. I can’t even begin to imagine witnessing something so tragic. What’s really bothering me is why someone would shoot up her house in the first place if she wasn’t the intended target. Does anyone else feel there’s more to this story? It seems like such a senseless act of violence, especially in a community where everyone knew her kindness. Hopefully, more people will come forward with information to help the police solve this. We all want to see justice for Nonnie and her family. Any thoughts or insights from locals would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe, everyone.
