Has anyone heard any updates on the investigation into Demore Dante Debose's tragic death? I keep thinking about how senseless it all feels. From what I understand, it seems like there's some progress with the authorities, especially with the cooperation of the person who returned fire. But what really sticks with me is Timothy Washington's involvement. It's chilling to think about the danger that comes from having firearms in the wrong hands. As someone who grew up around Grosse Tete, I've stopped at that Tiger Truck Stop more times than I can count, and it's disturbing to think something so violent happened there. My heart goes out to Demore’s loved ones and everyone in the community who’s been affected. I hope the investigation yields justice and some semblance of peace for his family.
